阙门

阙门是戚城文物景区的东门，系仿秦汉风格的城阙。该建筑造型艺术独具特色，气势雄伟、高大浑厚。坐西向东，主楼高耸，顶端铜朱雀展翅欲飞，两翼阙亭与主楼相衬成“山”字状，阙门正中镌刻着两个篆书大字——戚邑。整个建筑用青砖灰瓦垒砌而成，阙门楼身连城台高24米，面阔55米，进深16.45米，巍峨壮观。登高远眺，楼阁林立，市容市貌尽收眼底，有“中原第一门”之称。

 The Gate Tower is the east gate of Qicheng Cultural Relics Scenic Area, which is  a gate tower that copies the style of the Qin and Han dynasties. The appearance of the building is unique, grand and magnificent. It sits in the west and faces the east. The main building is towering. The bronze vermilion bird on the top is about to fly. The pavilions on both wings form a “Shan” character with the main building. The middle of the Gate Tower is inscribed with two big characters in seal script--Qi Yi (Qi City). The whole building is built with gray bricks and tiles. The Gate Tower and the platform are altogether 24 m high, 55 m wide and 16.45 m deep. It looks grand and magnificent. Climbing on it and looking far into the distance, you can have a full view of buildings of the city. It is known as the “No.1 Gate on the Central Plains”.
